PROTECTING COBB’S SUBURBAN LIFESTYLE AGAINST NEW URBANISM
I am for Conservative government at all levels. I am for low taxes, small, efficient government, and putting homeowners first.
Sound familiar? Everyone running for office in Cobb County says this. Those are just words. So what’s the difference?
I ACTUALLY BELIEVE IN THESE IDEAS
Why Larry Savage
I put aside my personal interests to enter the combat of elective office because I saw a lack of direction in Cobb leadership and an absence of commitment to Conservative principles.
The “Good Ship Cobb County” is drifting off course. Put a leader at the helm who has done his homework and knows what to do.
I WILL DRIVE ESSENTIALS:
- Get control of the operating budget and establish separation between the operating budget and SPLOST
- No more reliance on endless SPLOST
- Establish clear top priority for PUBLIC SAFETY
- Demand REAL Transportation improvements
- TRANSPARENT budgeting based on clear priorities
- RESPECT the workforce & become the undisputed leader among local governments
- Stress Economic Development that creates high quality employment COMPATIBLE with the Cobb community
- PROTECT our suburban lifestyle against New Urbanism
Larry Savage has invested the better part of two years learning what makes things tick in the Cobb Government machine. He’s attended more meetings of the Board of Commissioners than have some Commissioners. He’s studied documents, done independent research, and collaborated with groups within and outside Cobb. No one has ever invested more effort or demonstrated more commitment.
That effort builds on a degree in Mechanical Engineering and an MBA, a successful forty year career in business and industry with GM, Loctite and Henkel, four successful small businesses and successful investing in markets and real estate.
Current news
Cobb County produced a short video explaining the breakdown in county property taxes and how much goes toward each of the public services offered.
